Real Life Superheroes Invade the UK!
Somehow, and i'm not quite sure why this is, being a superhero seems a lot more appealing after i see a movie or read a good comic book. Seeing real life superheroes in action makes me think that it may be time to hang the tights up permanently.
The good news is that this isn't just an American phenomenon anymore. As Knight Warrior notes, there may be as many as a couple dozen of these dudes flying around the UK.

Rock and Roll Potatoheads
Andre's Cousin Samuel Potatohead enjoyed a wild 15 minutes of fame when he was chosen to appear in Everclear's video for AM Radio. Unfortunately, Samuel took the role to heart. He thought that he had really made the big time, partying with rock stars and all. It was all short-lived and Samuel ended up as part of a delicious picnic potato salad.
